INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK NAVIGATION ANTENNA CONNECTOR

(a) Check that the navigation antenna cord is securely connected to the navigation receiver assembly.

OK:

The cord is securely connected.

HINT:

Check the connector for damage. If damaged, the system may not function.

OK

2.

REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA

(a) Replace the navigation antenna with a normal one NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION ANTENNA: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) Clear the DTCs NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

Same problem does not occur.
